Hey Buds!
I'm excited to reveal Lane Lloyd's newest variant cover for the release of Puff, Puff, Parent Vol. 1 in 2026! This cover is an homage to a famous painting -- "The Fall of Man" (by Cornelis Cornelisz., 1592, Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, the Netherlands).
You may have seen it in the end of your copy of the Budding Narrative Edition or as an art print that many physical backers received, but I absolutely love Lane's work on this cover!
There will also be a Kickstarter-exclusive variant cover by Max Pinelli added to the offerings for PPP Vol. 1. I have written 2 different one-page scripts and I'm trying to decide if I should stick to only one or make them both. Stay tuned for more news and follow the pre-launch page today!
I was able to bring my most risky comic book to life because of each and every one of you. Without your support, I wouldn't have successfully funded and fulfilled my 4th Kickstarter, have a slate of new comics coming, or have been able to attend so many events to meet old and new fans alike. That's why I'm so excited to announce the return to my debut, all-ages comic book series.

"The Final Curtain" is a 4-page backup story for Kid Cretaceous #2 (written by Travis Gibb, art by Ignacio Di Meglio, & letters by Buddy Beaudoin) that introduces a mysterious new villain -- MR. MALUS!
LetterSquids has taken over lettering duties for the remainder of the series

Hey BUDS!
I apologize that this final update was put off because of the holidays and getting back into the groove of things after the year starts. I have good news! All backers should have their rewards except for our only Canadian backer. Their package was delayed due to the Postal Strike but I got this final package sent out today. All other shipments show they have already been delivered. If there were any mix-ups or problems with your books, let me know as soon as possible. PPP Vol. 1 will return to Kickstarter in 2026!

We are only ONE WEEK away from the launch of Kid Cretaceous #2! This is my flagship, all-ages comic series and ushers in a year of follow-up releases.

Fulfillment Update
Thank you all so much for your patience with this project. This project has been plagued with a few unforeseen delays - including with printing. The majority of backers were digital supporters, but we're so happy to start shipping soon! My goal is to have most shipments within physical backers' hands before Christmas.
Sketch card/bookplates were mailed to series artist Max Pinelli and he received them this evening. Proofs have been fixed and approved by the other printer for Covers A-D. This is the biggest thing delaying fulfillment but they're currently in production and were put to the top of the queue because of an error in one of the proof files. These should hopefully arrive quickly.
Wednesday, our first shipment of Puff, Puff, Parent: Budding Narrative Edition arrived! These were our holo-foil copies from Ready Comics. Take a look at how they turned out below:
The campaign for the Kid Cretaceous sequel was delayed until 2025 because I've been waiting to get your books to you for this campaign. Kid Cretaceous #2 launches in January, as part of the Make 100 event, with only one hundred limited metal tarot cards available!
Jeff Morris is a talented writer and friend of mine that just received a grant to help teens process grief and create their own short comics about loss! He will be putting on a four-week workshop on comics and grief. Young adults and teens will create their own short comics about grief and loss by the end of our workshop! If anyone deserves this opportunity, it's Jeff. He has a campaign currently running for his first print run of True Believer. What is True Believer?
True Believer is a collection of three short comics about Jeff's journey through grief.
Each story draws inspiration from his personal experience with loss. In this 32-page collection, we explore themes of family, faith, and a love stronger than death. This comic book also features an amazing cast of creative talent, such as: Dennis Menheere, Micah Myers, Aubrey Lyn Jeppson, Devin Arscott, and more!
